As the Nations are being deeply affected by the surge of this newly espied virus COVID-19, the STEM Conference was organized by Green mentors INDIA in collaborationwith Cuny-Bronx Community College (New York) on May 7 from 4:30 p.m onwards to discuss its consequences, preventive measures and different scenarios from the microscopic level in their communities to the global macroscopic perspective.The key areas of discussion were the current pandemic COVID-19, Green Education, sustainability and climate change and how STEM integrates and revolutionizes all these aspects of life . STEM skills permeates through the various academic disciplines .It can be instilled through simple activities like collaborating daily weather reports which can help understand climate change .The session encouraged students to fuel their curiosity and challenge the narratives by being active learners using the best of both - nature and technology. The students and teachers of our school who participated in the conference could reiterate that STEM is an ideal part of our lives and helps us connect with all the aspects pertaining to it.
